Contact: Anyware Invites TU Students to Design Mobility Applications – And Win Big TULSA, Okla., September 14, 2007 – Students at the University of Tulsa are invited to design a mobile business application – and perhaps become the Bill Gates or Pablo Picasso of business mobility. Anyware Mobile Solutions, the Tulsa-based business mobility leader, in cooperation with the University of Tulsa, is sponsoring the ReForm XT™ Design and Development Contest, open to any TU student or team of students. Registered entrants must use Anyware’s ReForm XT mobile data collection platform to design an application that solves a problem or improves a process in the business, technical, campus, or societal arenas. Winners will receive prizes worth thousands of dollars. Businesses and organizations currently use ReForm surveys running on Palm® Treo™ smartphones, Windows Mobile™ devices, and other mobile handhelds to collect vital information from remote locations, deliver it wirelessly to central offices at Internet speed, and enable informed decisions in record time. TU students registering for the ReForm XT Design and Development contest are given login access to Anyware’s online design environment – the LogicLine™ Form Builder – where they are tasked with creating the next business-changing, or world-changing, mobile application. Students can work individually or in teams. The design interface is so intuitive and easy that non-technical as well as technical students are encouraged to enter. The grand prize winner will receive a $2,000 cash award plus marketing and business support from Anyware to help transform their mobile application design into a marketable product. One runner-up will claim a $1,000 cash prize. The contest registration deadline is September 15, 2007. Completed mobile applications must be submitted by October 19, 2007, and winners will be announced on Friday, November 2, 2007 at a special Anyware University luncheon to be held at Southern Hills Country Club. For submission guidelines or to register for the ReForm Design and Development Contest, TU students should visit http://www.goanyware.com/contest/.
