ReForm XT Creates a Powerful Tool To Gather Leads At Conferences

Product Update: ReForm XT Creates a Powerful Tool To Gather Leads At Conferences

  • ReForm XT's Mobile Poker Run Is Fun and Unique Way For Vendors to Capture Critical Sales Information
  • Proven to Significantly Increase Booth Traffic
  • Anyware Mobile Solutions division recently attended the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association (OSA) annual conference and presented another innovative use for ReForm XT™. Anyware sponsored a Mobile Poker Run, which increased traffic to our booth and allowed us to showcase our product, digiTICKET™, to the sheriffs and other city leaders attending the show. Anyware, along with the other vendors who participated in the poker run, were pleased with the end results, which included: increased booth traffic; a comprehensive electronic leads list; and customers who were entertained by the Mobile Poker Run and open to hearing more about the vendor's products.

ReForm XT's Mobile Poker Run addresses a key challenge at conferences and trade shows. Trade shows and conferences for all industries normally host an exhibit hall where vendors are able to showcase all the newest toys and tricks of the trade. Two problems that exist at the shows include 1) people pass by the booth without stopping; or 2) the sales team working the booth misses getting contact information for key leads. Vendors are always looking for fun and innovative ways to get people to stop by their booths and to collect contact information. The Mobile Poker Run, powered by ReForm XT, was a fun and innovative solution.

"Participating in the ReForm XT Poker Run at the 2009 OK Sheriff's Training Conference resulted in a steady flow of potential customers in what is usually a slow traffic conference. I was able to ask specific questions and found many participants were unaware of the benefits of our product," stated Digital Ally Sales Representative, Ryan Baker.

Anyware provided each participating vendor an Intermec mobile computer, loaded with ReForm XT, and a deck of specially designed playing cards with barcodes in place of actual card numbers. These barcodes represented the 52 different cards in a deck. Participants were invited to register for the Mobile Poker Run at Anyware's booth and then visit the other four booths to draw cards. They returned to Anyware's booth to draw their 5th and final card. The cards were tracked electronically and the winner was determined using a preprogrammed formula.

Using ReForm XT, Anyware was able to create a multi-functioning form. In addition to being able to scan and track playing cards, each vendor was able to ask specific leading questions. For example, a question asked at the digiTICKET booth was, ?Has your city ever considered electronic ticketing?' That information was then compiled into a spreadsheet and created an instant leads list, complete with contact information and current or future buying habits, for the vendors who participated.

The Poker Run created good ?buzz' resulting in a key attendee, the organizer for the Oklahoma Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association, being so impressed with the Mobile Poker Run that she has already signed up to have the Poker Run at their conference in February. The vendors who participated in the OSA conference Poker Run are planning to participate at the OSPOA conference as well.

Anyware plans to promote and offer ReForm XT's Mobile Poker Run at upcoming conferences and trade shows. This is just one more application powered by ReForm XT that helps business and organizations improve operations while reducing costs.
