Overview
Anyware Mobile Solutions was approached by an international
market research company needing a robust, yet easy to deploy
electronic survey solution. Using Anyware’s
ReForm
product the company deployed electronic survey forms and
mobile devices to its field force and successfully captured
over 65,000 individual survey forms in a 2 month time
period.
Business Issues
The research company’s client was a well known
consumer-oriented technology retail store. Their client’s
timeframe for researching customer perceptions was short and
the research company didn’t have time to implement their
normal pencil, paper and fax solution. Additionally, the
sheer volume of surveys that needed to be collected dictated
a new approach to old standards. That new approach was a
scalable electronic data collection tool that had the
ability to quickly capture and report on the information
that was collected on the survey forms. Several objectives
for the project were outlined:
- Eliminate the paper questionnaire
- Eliminate the manual data entry following a survey
- Provide management with timely access to the
collected data
- Increase volume of the completed survey forms data
- Provide accurate, timely, and auditable
questionnaire information
- Provide a simple and intuitive mobile user interface
for survey representatives
- Assure auditability and security of sensitive data
- Maximize dissemination and retrieval of information
to applicable persons
Anyware Solution
For this particular project, over 50 field workers would be
scattered across 12 sites to capture feedback from store
customers. In less than a week’s time, ReForm was
distributed to a field user base of over 50 non-technical
individuals. The result was a successful project engagement,
capturing over 65,000 individual survey forms in a 2 month
time period.
